My name is Bu Yun Nian. I am from Shanghai, China. I speak Shanghainese, Mardarin, and some English as well.

I live in Brooklyn, New York City. I live in a four-story apartment building. My neighbors are Latinos and African-Americans. In this building we are the only Chinese family.

The building is near the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, which is very beautiful. We often take a walk in the garden.

The Brooklyn Museum of Art is located in front of the Botanic Garden. On the first Saturday evening of every month, admission to the museum is free.

There is a library on the left-hand side of the museum. Every day, many people enter or exit the library from the arch door of golden color with books and tapes under their armpits or in their bags. Hundresdes of people are using the resources here for their research and studies. School children often visit here to conduct their research, collaborating on their group projects.

I love my neighborhood which is beautiful.

I have many hobbies:

The literature and art are my favorites.
I like reading and writing.
I like to listen to classic music and some popular songs, too.
I like to watch games, sports and contests.
I like to play the Sudoku of puzzles.
I also like to travel. I love the mountains, lakes, oceans. I love nature.
I also like to learn, to study English, computer and new things.

As a Chinese saying goes: One is never too old to learn. Although I am a senior, I will keep learning throughout my life and totally enoy it.
